Angry [Resolved] Big Problem please help

Well ive had this pc for quite a while and it has started to get some problems. The problem that i am concerned with is that whenver i log in to my pc after about 10 minutes the blue bar at the bottom of the screen dissappears. I think this is because for some random reason the explorer.exe file gets deleted. Why is this happening? and is there anyone who can help with this problem.

Hello Boomboy,

Please can you follow the link on my signature "PCHF Prework" and follow the instructions there. Post your AVG and Hijackthis log back here, and a member of the security team will check for malware.

Hya Boomboy.

The following entry: O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [KernelFaultCheck] %systemroot%\system32\dumprep 0 -k is used in connection with memory dumps - you can disable these by right clicking on My Computer, selecting Properties and then the Advanced tab. Click on the Settings button in 'Startup and Recovery'. In the bottom pane - under 'Write debugging information' - click on the down arrow and then select 'None' - OK your way out.

Download KillBox by Option^Explicit from HERE.

Please download Atribune's Blockrem from HERE
  • Unzip it to its own folder on your desktop.
  • Boot your computer to safe mode by rebooting and tapping the F8 button repeatedly until it brings up a boot menu.
From that menu, select Safe Mode by using the arrow keys to highlight it then pressing enter.
  • Once in safe mode open the Blockrem folder on your desktop and double-click blockrem.bat (this is the file with the gear icon) to run it.
  • Once it is running please follow the onscreen instructions.

Then run HijackThis , select to do a "system scan only" and then place a check beside each of the following:

R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Toolbar,LinksFolderName =
O3 - Toolbar: (no name) - {E0E899AB-F487-11D5-8D29-0050BA6940E3} - (no file)
O15 - Trusted Zone: Mirar (HKLM)
O20 - AppInit_DLLs: C:\WINDOWS\system32\rundll32.dll
Now first close all windows and browsers other then HijackThis , then click Fix checked and close HijackThis.

Double click on Killbox.exe and then check the delete on reboot button.
Enter the following filepath and filename into the Full path of file to delete box:

C:\WINDOWS\system32\rundll32.dll

Click the red circle with the white x and allow your computer to reboot.
(if killbox doesn't reboot on its own then please reboot manually)

When done, please post a new HijackThis log.

Please download Winhelp2002's Deldomains.inf to your desktop.

http://www.mvps.org/winhelp2002/DelDomains.inf

Right-click on the deldomains.inf file and select 'Install'
Once it is finished your Zones should be reset.

Note, if you use SpywareBlaster and/or IE/Spyads, it will be necessary to re-install the protection both afford. For SpywareBlaster, run the program and re-protect all items. For IE/Spyads, run the batch file and reinstall the protection.

Post a new HJT log when done, and let me know how your pc is running please.
