Hya Royston.

Boot in safemode (hit f8 when booting up) and then fix these with HJT:

R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Toolbar,LinksFolderName =
O20 - Winlogon Notify: explorer - C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\explorer.dll
Then manually delete the file in bold, reboot your pc, and post a new HJT log please.

And do you use/have installed Salfeld Child Control 2003 - parental control software ? If not, then we have another entry to fix aswell.


PS:

Explorer.dll is a Trojan.Wayphisher.

Explorer.dll tries to terminate antiviral programs installed on a user computer.
Explorer.dll monitors user Internet activity and bank information.
It sends stolen data to a hacker site.
Did you have an AV installed on that pc? If you had then you need to reinstall it, there is no AV running on your pc now anymore.
And if you do online banking then you need to change your passwords immediatly. I would change all other passwords aswell btw.

No ive never used Salfeld Child Control 2003 - parental control software or installed it if you give me the fix for that i will do both at the same time, i think that exlplorer.dll will b the reason my runescape account was hacked, yes i do have av installed but it is due an update will that work in the same way???

Then you can also add this entry to the fix list:

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [winlog] winlog.exe
And after fixing the entrys with HJT also do a search for this file: winlog.exe and delete that aswell.


I would advice to do a clean install of your AV, but if that update is a full installer and not only some updated parts then you should be able to use that aswell probebly.

When done, post a new HJT log please.

Ok ive done those fixes but when i searched to delete the winlog.exe file i could not find it im not sure why,maybe the file was deleted in the hjt fix. Ive sorted my programmes like AV and scanned my laptop with ad-aware, windows defender, spybot search + destroy and AVG. Below is my new hjt log please check it and tell me if it is fixed and safe to play runescape and stuff again thanks a lot.

BTW sorry that it has been a while scince my last post, ive been in a spot of trouble and as punishment have been banned from using the internet my my mam lol.

When removing this entry, did you boot into safe mode to do so?
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [winlog] winlog.exe
If you had removed that entry in normal mode, please boot to safe mode now to check and fix it.

I removed the other entries suggested by joe5 in safe mode however was not aware of the O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [winlog] winlog.exe entry I will do so in safe mode and post my new log later as I am going out now, ill probably post tomorow evening (GMT)
