Default [Clean] It's been a while...

Hello to everyone here! I know it's been a long, long time and I should really try to keep in touch, but school and then work got in the way. So now, here I am, back once again.

Aside from that, it seems as if something has hit my computer yet again.

To be more specific, it's this:

TR/Killapp.30208.A

So, some help would be greatly appreciated. And yes, I should have updated, but I haven't found the time to.

Curiously, all the searches that I tried for that one all came back in French or German... but here's a place that may have some help... I confess I haven't checked it all that much myself, but I'm still online and looking.... hope it helps.. http://original.avira.com/en/threats...ml?id_vdf=2443 I see from your post that you already know about Avira... that is the only one that I could find that even mentioned the Killapp that you put in your post.

Hya Gray.

I'm pretty sure that it will be a false positive, and even stronger, it is most likely one of the special tools used to clean an infection in the past.
Does it give a filename/path?

Do you have the Smitfraudfix still on your pc, or any other of those tools?

The file path is as follows:

C:\hp\bin\Terminator.exe

Thanks for the help so far, everyone. If this is a false positive, that'll make it the 2nd one that I've ever received from AntiVir.

I would do that, but any suggestions on what to get if I do decide to replace my anti-virus program?
