No, Joe, I don't have ZoneAlarm. And if I did, it would definitly be the free version. The only thing I pay for, for protection, is Norton. And thats it.

Here's my HJT log:

And here's a review of whats going on with my PC-my homepage won't let me change it to what I want. It's stuck at msn.com. SpySweeper is telling me I have multiple problems, a few are high risk. But Norton is coming up with nothing. Sometimes when I click on a link, nothing happens.

Hmm.. I see nothing that that would cause that sofar. Does your Ewido find anything?

And can you post a log from Spysweeper?

Launch SpySweeper & select Results from the left pane
Click the 'Session Log' tab & choose Save to File to create a log.

I can't actually post a log from SpySweeper, or clean or quarantine anything that SpySweeper finds since I just have a trial version or something. But I can tell you that the top three "high risks" that were found were "180search assistant/zango", "security2k hijacker", and "trojan-downloader-zlob". Those three were marked "critical". The other 104 were "low risk".

Here's a report from Ewido:

Hi ndbigler.

Just like Joe, I don't see anything wrong with your HijackThis log. Your ewido log, except the Popcap adware that we will deal with later, doesn't look very bad either. Therfore I'm pretty surprised why SpySweeper will detect zlob, security2k, etc; which are pretty nasty infections.

There should be filepaths of these malware that SpySweeper shows. Could you post them in your next reply?

I have a feeling it will be quarantined/backup files from previous cleaning..

The filepaths should confirme that if that is indeed the case.
