been having some problems, every time i turn off then on my laptop, i loose my IBM settings from their setup programs, like the touch pad and internal wireless conector and a tool bar was loaded somehow. here is my log file

I'm pretty sure that will be the culprit causing some of, if not all, your problems.

Follow the steps of "Prework" located here (courtesy of ladygreenwitch)

i'm not too familiar with their steps, but I'm sure one of the mighty admin type peoples will be able to solve your problem.

Your problem doesn't seem to be caused by malware. Have you tried contacting the manufacturer's support line?
