Default [Resolved] Godard's HijackThis

I am having a similar problem with being unable to change my homepage.

I've attached the hijackthis log file. Both of the R items are undeletable, although it's the verizon one that has taken over my IE.

I'm guessing that I need to use the bfu program as well, but am stymied as to how to use it.

Hi Godard,

Welcome to PCHF. We have a wonderful team of techs here, and I am sure that we will be able to get you back up and running smoothly.

You want to remember to always post your own problem into your own thread, you can reference another users thread if you think it is relevant or similar by pasting the URL into your post for the techs to reference. That way everyone gets the attention they deserve, and there aren't any confusions as to who the answers and questions are for.

I am going to move your post to its own thread, and we can start troubleshooting from there. OK?

Looking forward to your reply,

TTFN

LGW

Hello again Godard,

Please carefully follow the instructions for PreWork in my signature, make sure that you save the ewido file, and that you have the most up to date HJT version.

Looking forward to your reply,

TTFN

LGW

Default Thank You Ms. Greenwitch

If there's anything I'm missing here please let me know.

Ewido seems to have changed significantly since the instructions you've posted. I ran the anti-spyware 4.0 and will post the results when i've rebooted etc...

Well I've attached the latest ewido logfile.

My hijackthis logfile was for version 1.99.1 which i believe is the latest.
