Would appreciate any help you can give, I will try to explain

Following a McAfee virus scan I can no longer fully access the internet via my broadband connection.

I can access certain http:// sites but nothing with www in the address. All I get is "page cannot be displayed".

My ISP is Wanadoo and I have the same problem with all pc's in the house (the virus scan was only done on the main PC), except my work one which connects via a connection to the office but still via the same broadband connection.

Have tried disabling firewalls and no joy.

Hya CCFC. Sorry for the late reply.


Try this , first download and run WinsockXPFix.exe to see if that fixes youre problem.

And after that please follow the instructions in the "Prework" link below in my sig and post back with the 2 resulting log files to check if there are problems left after the AV scan.
