Boot youre pc in safemode (hit f8 when booting up)

Once in Safe Mode, open the SmitfraudFix folder and double-click smitfraudfix.cmd
Select option #2 - Clean by typing 2 and press "Enter" to delete infected files.

You will be prompted : "Registry cleaning - Do you want to clean the registry ?"; answer "Yes" by typing Y and press "Enter" in order to remove the Desktop background and clean registry keys associated with the infection.

The tool will now check if wininet.dll is infected. You may be prompted to replace the infected file (if found); answer "Yes" by typing Y and press "Enter".

The tool may need to restart your computer to finish the cleaning process; if it doesn't, please restart it into Normal Windows.
A text file will appear onscreen, with results from the cleaning process; please post that report with your next reply.
The report can also be found at the root of the system drive, usually at C:\rapport.txt

And also please post an Hijackthis log , see link below in my sig.

And if you post the Smitfraud log and an Hijackthis log then i can have a look if you have any virus problems on there for you.

I don't get it though, i clicked on the link in your sig then opened the HijackThis file......what do i do next?

Start hjt and select the top option to "do a system scan and save a log file" , let it run and a log will popup automaticly.

The only problem is at the moment i've got some worm virus attacking my PC therefore i'm currently using my laptop, i only just about got into safe mode to do the first part.

No problem , take youre time.

But on wich did you just run the Smitfraud? The laptop or the pc? If they are both infected , and we are working on the laptop in this thread , then please make a separete thread for the pc or it could become confusing.
