Exclamation [Fixed] please help with posible virus or spyware infection
hi
i need help with posible virus or spyware problem i was downloading something from the net the other day when my antivirus stopped like 5 viruses and it couldn't stop the last one now i cant have a background picture and a bunch of stuff is screwed up on pc

Hi there Genie!

Someone will be around soon to help you out, but in the mean time it would be helpful if you could follow these prework instructions (the link following this) and post the 2 logs that you'll have afterwards on here for them to look at. :-)

when i install ewido do i uncheck everything in additional options?

ok here are my reports for ewido and hijack this

the problem that i have is that my background gets deleted every time i logon to windows it started to happen when a virus or spyware went in my pc the other night

I dont see any infections sofar , but these entrys can be fixed with hjt:

See if this helps to get youre desktop back:

Download this reg fix , unzip it , dubbel click on it and enter it to the registry.
http://users.telenet.be/marcvn/regfi...desktopfix.zip


And/or:


Go to "control panel/Appearance and Themes/change the desktop background/Customize desktop/web tab" and see if anything is loaded there.

If it is , then delete it. Also remove the tick in "lock desktop items" if present.
