The Panda scan just found one single cookie , did the rootkit scanners find anything?

And lets also try an Spysweeper scan , you can find a link and instructions for it in the "prework" link just below the link you used earlier for Ewido.

When done post the log from that please.

The rootkit scans didn't turn anything up, I don't think. I actually already have spysweeper on my computer, running every night. Hasn't found anything in a while. Everything really looks okay on my comp except for that taskbar "program" that appears every so often. It actually just appeared as I was typing this, and all I have open are 3 internet explorer browsers. If it makes any difference, it also will happen when the screen saver is on, and it will exit the screen saver as a result, going back to the main screen. It makes going into any type of powersave mode after I leave impossible.

Im thinking it might an app that is updating it self , do you have programs running with autoupdate enabled?

And have you also tried the Spysweeper scan i mentioned? You can also try an extra online AV scan from Kaspersky:

http://www.kaspersky.com/service?chapter=161739400

Click on Kaspersky Online Scanner
You will be promted to install an ActiveX component from Kaspersky, Click Yes.
The program will launch and then begin downloading the latest definition files:

Once the files have been downloaded click on NEXT
Now click on Scan Settings
In the scan settings make that the following are selected:

Scan using the following Anti-Virus database:
Extended (if available otherwise Standard)
Scan Options:
Scan Archives
Scan Mail Bases

Click OK
Now under select a target to scan:

Select My Computer

This will start the program and scan your system.
The scan will take a while so be patient and let it run.

Once the scan is complete it will display if your system has been infected.
Now click on the Save as Text button:
Save the file to your desktop.

Post the log from it please.

Also nothing wrong in those to be found. We could try these online trojan scans to see if they find something:

http://scan.sygate.com/pretrojanscan.html

http://www.windowsecurity.com/trojanscan/

And you can also give this a try:

http://www.spywareinfo.com/xscan.php

http://pestpatrol.com/prescan.htm

But sofar everything shows youre clean of problems , did you had a look to see if it maybe is an autoupdating program thats running in the background?
