Red face Windows Media

Joe5,

I forgot to answer. Windows Media is a software program to allow you to view .jpg files.

I think you mean the "windows picture and fax viewer".

And if you look at the bottum of my posts you'll see a link to hijackthis , download and run the app and then select the option to "do a system scan and safe a log file". The log file will popup automaticly then.

These two can be fixed with hijackthis:

R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Int ernet Settings,ProxyOverride = 127.0.0.1
O16 - DPF: {E9F4DF12-E82E-4177-8B82-ED7355ED4362} (DownloadX Control) - http://j.cdrdev.com/wkrc/downloadX.ocx
And do you know what this is?

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [radarDesk] C:\WINNT\system32\radarDesk.exe -h

If not , then please upload the file in bold to this site:

http://www.virustotal.com/en/indexf.html

And post back the results please.

Joe5,
I have never done this before but I attached the file to the virtual scan email and sent it to the scan address. I think the radarDesk is a local weather program
Thanks so much for your help,
DD1
