There is no system32 folder in my WINDOWS. I looked at the properites of the CMD.EXE shortcut and it says the system32 folder is located in the "%system root%". I also tried to search for Salfeld, but nothing. I also removed that O4 thing in the hijack you spoke of.

Youre log is clean now , do you still have the "time limit"?

And the system32 folder may be hidded , but you do have one for sure.

1. On the Tools menu in Windows Explorer, click Folder Options.
2. Click the View tab.
3. Under Hidden files and folders, click Show hidden files and folders.
4. If you see a warning message, click Yes.
5. Click Apply.
6. Click OK.

See if you can see the system32 then inside the windows folder.

I replaced the cmd.exe and I still get the "time limit". I just went ahead and reformated, having this problem for over 2 weeks already just started to become a hassle. I really appreciate your help though joe5. Thanks for the help!

That indeed fixes almost all problems. To bad we didn't manage to find the actuall problem though.
