Sorry, we do not do private side bars here. However, I am fairly certain that I can walk you through the steps.

First, download the programs you are going to need, we'll start with the basics;

CCleaner, ewido, and HijackThis. You simply need to click on each of the links in the PreWork instructions. Once you have downloaded and saved each program to your desktop, you will need to install it.

Install ewido and let it default to where it wants to install itself. Once it has installed, it should ask you to update it, if it doesn't, manually update it to ensure that you have the most up to date definitions.

Create a folder on your desktop, and unzip HijackThis into that folder

Install CCleaner, and also update it. Check everything, answer OK to any and all warnings.

Now boot into Safe Mode, continually tap the F8 key while booting up, use your arrow keys to select Safe Mode, and hit the Enter key.

Run CCleaner, click on Analyze, when it has finished, click on Clean.

Run ewido, have it run a full system scan, do not let it fix anything. When it has finished, click on the button at the bottom that says, Save a Log File. Save the log to your desktop.

Run HijackThis, choosing the option to save a logfile, and also save this log to your desktop.

Reboot your PC into regular mode. Post the two logs from your desktop back here.

Thankyou. I will try it now. Do I have to use safe mode? I don't like safe mode. I already did a ewido full scan, and that took forever. Do I have to do it again? .......

Also, why is it that the first time you ran ewido and HJT you cleaned the cookies w/ backup and then put most of them back and told ewido to ignore them?

I'm sorry, but we are very busy here, please follow the instructions that you are given, exactly. Whether or not you "like" Safe Mode is irrelevant. We are here to guide you to the best and most effective removal of any malware you have gotten on your computer, frequently that requires doing a large part of the repairs in Safe Mode.

I will take a look at your HJT logs and see if we can determine what is causing your difficulties.

Ewido takes a long time to do a scan on. I did ewido earlier today, ignored what is said was messed up like you told me to, and then saved a log.
