Default [Fixed] Is it there?

Ok I was gonna post this in my ANG thread but saying as this is resolved I dont know if it would get noiced tere or if its even the right place -haha. This problem only really came to my attention whilst trying to fix my AVG virus scan one.
I usually use Spybot searchand destroy for spyware but during my last thread I as advised to scan with SpySweeper. For at least a month now My Spybot (fully updated) hasnt picked up anything - no threats atall, when previously id get 3-5 every scan (a day). Then when I scanned with Spysweeper it said I had at least 50 spyware present on my pc. As you cant delete with spysweeper I decided to scan with Spybot again but it picked nothing up - im wondering if there could be something wrong with My bot?

Cheers

Also is Spybot updated?

And did you use the online Spysweeper scan , or is youre trial version expired?

If its the first , then give this a try:

Hey Joe, Hengis - My Spybots completly updated, The spysweeper I downloaded I used directly afterwards so It couldnt be out of date. Im gonna have to re check on the cookies

I did the

Sweep Memory
Sweep Registry
Sweep Cookies
Sweep All Users accounts
Do Not Sweep System Restore Folder
Enable Direct Disk Sweeping
Sweep contents of compressed files
Sweep For Rootkits

But Ill reinstall it and post the log that link talks about - Hope this helps

Hi,

like posted before i think it could just be some useless non-harmful or potentially harmful cookies found in the cookies folder in you documents and settings/username folder, try searching with spysweeper again and check your results back again. Have you tried using programs such as Lavasoft Ad-Award? its really a good program

Hey guys,

Ok I did the scan again and it picked up alot of 'Spy Cookies' from sites and names I didnt know

I created this log for you to check out, there is some cookie related stuff amounst all the error messages :P, Yeah I do use Lavasoft Ad Aware too. It picks alot of stuff.

Thanks

EDIT - I removed the Spy Cookies with Spysweeper - and Ive just scanned again - it says no spyware or unwanted items found , Great help guys - Cheers

Sorry this is totally unrelated but it saves starting again - would you say my computer running on 97% CPU usage is bad? I just noticed it

Yup , just cookies and that error is nothing to worry about. Just disable the "windows messenger shield" in spysweepers options.

Would that be "system idle process" by any change? That is the unused processor percentage , so the higher that is the better.
