Default [Resolved] CPU usage

ok my comp started acting really weird about a week ago. So i have been wanting to reformat it and start over. So i did and then when i setup everything my CPU usage runs at 60-70% and it used to run at 10-20%... even when i close just about all owner processes it still runs really high.. can anyone have any sugestions on how i could fix this problem? cause i can barely run open and minimize itunes without the song stopping and my comp lagging really bad...

heres the specs on my comp.

ASUS AN8 SLI motherbroad
AMD 3500+ 2.1 GHZ Processer
1 GIG of Corsair RAM
80 gig Hard drive
Radeon 9200 video card

heres some pics of my task manager.

with this many processes my CPU usage is still 60% and over...

heres my CPU usage. this is as low as it gets right there.....

Anything would help...

Thanks
-SEAN

Hi Sean and welcome to PCHF

Can you take a screen shot of your running processes. Right click on the task bar > Task Manager > processes tab (expand the window so that ALL processes show > hold down the ALT key and press "Print Screen" > open up Paint and click on Edit > paste. Then reply to this post adding the image. You can use the free image hosting service on the reply page to attach the image....but make sure you save it in Paint as a .jpg file as it will be smaller.

Hi Sean, those pics are unfortunately contradictory. I need to see the process that is causing your CPU to run high. Nothing in the list you have shown is running at 61%

Maybe you should try the option show processes from all users. But if you don't have any user that shouldn't make any difference...
