[Fixed] Hijackthis! Logs - [Resolved] CPU usage posted in the Security & Safety forums; yeah the rootkit didnt find anything i dont think, and the drivers were my Asus motherbroad driver, ATI 9200 driver and my Diamond extreme Sound card....

yeah the rootkit didnt find anything i dont think, and the drivers were my Asus motherbroad driver, ATI 9200 driver and my Diamond extreme Sound card.

Can you uninstall the sound card and see if the problem is still there then?
And do you have onboard video , or an other video card to test in place of the ATI 9200?

Then if the problem is still there after that , then we can rule out the video and sound card and there drivers.

ok i start uninstalling my drivers and no change so im gonna reformat again and see when ever i boot up first time if its like that.. thanks for the help.. ill be in in about an hour to give update.

ok i got rid on the CPU problem witch is good thank god. but now since i reformated my scrolling on firefox and IE is laggy. i'v fixed it before but dont remember how i did.. any sugguestions?

That is probebly because you havent installed the video drivers yet i think? That should be fixed after installing those. And have you also already installed the motherboard drivers?

But keep an eye on the cpu usage after installing each driver and other piece of software one by one , then if the problem happends again then atleast we know what has caused it.

ok i reformated it ran great and then i installed MB drivers and i was good but i install video drivers and it went to **** again so i know its my video card.. i was planing on getting one this weekend anyway but what kind do you guys sugguest? i was gonna get like a Radeon x1300 Pro 512mb from ebay.. what do you guys think?


BTW thank you guys so much for all the help you gave me! favorite pc help site!
