--Bad News---

We have some mistery junk.

under the "home entertainment" folder i got all these video editing programs... which i didn't install or download.

- Power DVD
- Unlead DVD MovieFactory 2 SE
- UCD DVD Disc Image recorder
- Video Studio

Not the real things by the looks of it. Upon being opened my machine make sudden juddering noises, the company logo comes up - but after that nothing. Also, none of these show up in the "add/remove programs" list.

----------

And yes I will defrag in a second. After the SD scan

Could it be that those apps came preinstalled with the pc?

nah they were definatly spyware. Deleted now but SD just found another elitebar... as i did click on one of the progs and it didn't open anything. So can i assume all the stuff i deleted has been reinstalled again now?!

Try running the lqfix (elitebar remover) again , and have a look to see if any of youre anti malware , rootkit , and av apps find anything. You can also post a new hjt log to checkout.

Sorry i forgot to reply afterwards

anyway the lqfix found 16 things in the registry and deleted them, so did the look2me remover which i also ran. Doing frequent Spyware doctor scans and rarely finding a "low risk" malware infection... i cant remember what it was called but will report if SD picks it up again.

HJT log attached.

Youre hjt log is clean atm , and that last detection from Spybot is nothing to worry about. You can add that to the ignore list.

PS , i see you have one of those new AGEIA PhysX cards , how do you like that sofar?
