I've been trying to figure this problem with my computer for the longest. Im pretty good with computers but this is just baffling to me. I dont know the exact problem but heres the troubleshots...


1. I can not install new hardware or software without Adm. help. I am the Adm., but I can't log on my Adm. without going on Safe Mode. Safe Mode prevents me from using my internet and installing hardware/software from the internet.

2. I do not have a desktop. Sounds wierd? Think of it like this. I have a background picture. It can be changed via internet images, but I dont have a A.)toolbar, B.) Desktop Shortcuts, and C.)The Time!

3. Resolution is streched. Some web pages can't fit no matter how many time I "fix or adjust" the pages, regardless.

All I know this happend around November 2005, when I went away and came back home to find a fold of downloaded games on my desktop (VIRUSES)!!!!!!


Any ideas on how to fix this?

Im afraid youre pc is stuffed with malware , please first download LQfix.exe and save it to your desktop.

• Double-Click LQfix.exe and click Next > Next > Install.
• Leave the default settings, if you change them, the fix will Fail!
• Now make sure the "Launch LQfix" box is checked.
• Click the Finish button, after clicking the Finish button the fix will start.
• Follow the on-screen prompts.
• Your system will now reboot afterwards.
• Please be patient after the reboot, there is a script running in the background that needs to complete.

Download delcmdservice.zip
Unzip to youre desktop , open the folder and doubleclick on delreg.bat.

After that click on the "Prework" link (see below in my sig) and follow the instructions there.

Also run the optional Spysweeper scan and post back with the Ewido log , Spy sweeper log and a new hjt log.
