I'll have a look around but i dont know what that is either out of my head.

2. qnaamp - RegSupremePro shows thia as installed software and I've googled it but nothing turns up so I dont know if its something that should be removed.

RegSupremePro probebly lists it as an left over entry from something that is already removed but still has an uninstall entry in add/remove programs and/or the registry. It should be safe to fix , but you could do a search on youre pc for it to see if there is something still present.

3. After running RegSupreme the reboot was much slower than last time I rebooted and the PC hardware made a lot of the kind of noise you normally get with to many processess or lag.

That should only be the first reboot , have you rebooted another time already?

4. CCleaner has found about 10 ActiveX/COM issues after RegSupreme did its thing - so apparently they have conflicting opinions and i dont know who to go with hehe.

You can let Ccleaner fix them , it is not abnormal that after running one cleaning app , that an other app finds things it didn't find before.

5. Firefox still freezes its *** off hehe. No idea what the problem is with this thing.
EDIT:
6. The mouse pointer also keeps going invisible. It seems this only happens when Azureus is active... Is it possible that java has something to do with the visibility of ones mouse pointer? I don't see how this problem can be something related to the mouse installation but I'll try and reinstall it

Again, really appreciate your help
For nr 5 and 6 , let me know if the driver reinstall works for the mouse , and also try to update or reinstall youre java , maybe that is the problem.

Hi again Joe

I've been a way from home a couple of days so havent been able to reply sooner.

The PC is generally running much smoother than it did before you began working your magic hehe. However, after I did all the registry cleansing a rather frequent error message has begun popping up. It says the following:

"Windows was unable to save all the data for the file C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\CONFIG\SysEvent.Evt The data has been lost. This error may be caused by a failure of your computer hardware or network connection. Please try to save this file elsewhere."

It sounds pretty serious so I'm hoping you have a trick for fixing this problem hehe

Regards,
Martin

Click Start>Run and type in: services.msc
Click OK
In the Services window find the EventLog service
Select/highlight and right click the entry, and choose: Properties
On the General tab, beside: Startup Type, in the drop menu, select: Disabled
Click Apply, then OK

And then reboot youre pc. When the pc starts up, several services may fail; a message informing the user to use Event Viewer to review errors may appear , thats ok an only temporary.

Rename the C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\CONFIG\SysEvent.Evt to C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\CONFIG\SysEvent.old

Set the EventLog service to automatic again , reboot , and see if the prob is gone.

I would like to add something before I do what you just said since something has just happened thatmight change how you perceive the problem.

Suddenly I got an error message about services.exe, then I was asked if I wanted to send the info about the error to microsoft. I chose no and then I got a message that the system would be restarted from "NTAuthoritySystem" with a countdown timer of one minute.
It then restarted and when I got back into windows the Panda Antivirus guard wasn't active and I couldnt start Panda. Then I tried to restart again but it took ages and nothing happened so I turned off the computer via the power switch. Then I started the PC again and this time Panda worked... I have no idea what's going on but it seems really messed up.
