These two can be fixed with hjt:

R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Int ernet Settings,ProxyOverride = 127.0.0.1
O2 - BHO: HomepageBHO - {27150f81-0877-42e9-af13-55e5a3439a26} - C:\WINNT\System32\hp41C5.tmp (file missing)

Do you remember if you removed any 017 entry's? I dont think those are backed up , and therefor restored by hjt.

cant remember about 017
What is happening now is when i plug in cable it is searching for an ip address. Comcast has a fix for the ip address but it errors ..and states IP could not be renewed cannot finr rpc server

i dont remember about 017
When i plug in cable it says it is acquiring a network address...
when i do ipconfig /renew it says cannot renew rpc server is unavailable
My connection is good as i am on it now with my other computer

Have a look in start/run/services.msc and locate "remote procedure call" and "remote procedure call locater" , and see what there "startup type" is set to.

Also have you tried doing an "repair" of youre connection? Just rightclick on the network adapter and select repair.

yes, repair says renewing your ip address cannot be completed

I will check the other thing
