:cheesy: Hey Dave,

I am going to move you to your own thread so that the advice doesn't get mixed up.

Please follow the PreWork instructions in my signature, and post the ewido and HijackThis logs there,

I will name it Dave2312's Spyware.

Look forward to your reply,

TTFN

Please go to add/remove programs and uninstall NewdotNet. If you don't have that option or if you have difficulties then please follow the instructions on this site

And then post a new hjt log from the latest version , you have used an slightly outdated version. See link below.

i cant remove it, its not on add remove programs, n ive tryed manually deleting it, but it says this file is being used by another person or program, there is only 1 file in the newdotnet folder called newdotnet7_22.dll n it wont let me remove it, i have followed instructions on newdotnet website n it dont say n e thing about not being able to delee it, ive also tried downloadin the unistall program from newdotnet and that doesnt do anything, i have done another scan with the latest version of hijack this n have done a quick scan with ewido for now, i will include the the logs below let me know wat u think thx

Hijack This -----> hijackthis.log

Ewido -----> Scan report_for_ewido_dave2312uk's.txt.txt

Thats the first time that the uninstaller doesn't work , lets try it a little different. Make sure you still have the uninstaller from that site.

Boot in safemode (hit f8 when booting up) and fix this one with hjt:

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [New.net Startup] rundll32 C:\PROGRA~1\NEWDOT~1\NEWDOT~2.DLL,ClientStartup -s
Then still in safemode , try to run the uninstaller again.
