I selected every file on c: and every file on d: plus folder counts (including hidden and system)

c: 82,869
d: 20,083
c: 6,477
d: 1,554

total = 110,983

Webroot counts 38 cookies and 111,364 files/folders scanned

I am missing something ?

Just cookies , nothing to really worry about. And that different apps report different file numbers is also normal , not all files get scanned and some scan more then the other.

Bu if i read youre post correct , this is a week old windows install? Since youre pc is updated and protected i dont expect to find any malware on there then.

I'm not sure I understand about this missing files part !

Can I see "EXACTLY" whats on my pc or not ?

Please understand I have been on this install for little over a week and feel things are not good in the security department, just this morning the ZA update "failed" after downloading the updates...why it failed is beyond me but I really am starting to think that this is all about money and making plenty of it, when all I want is to feel secure on the net.

Since when does a jpg request SVCHOST server access....

Since when does a website frontend require the same "7 times"

Why cant I see the FULLNESS of programs/applets that are running on my pc ?

And why oh why did your companies first reply start with "LOL" ?

I as you can see find none of this funny.

AT one stage I would have allowed my children to use the computer but NOT anymore.

Also, where is the JAVA vs MS vs "you have been disconnected" arguement taking place amongst these MULTI BILLION ?$ complanies ?

I guess one man isnt enough to matter, being of a low income intensifies that fact.....just my freedom of speech...lets hope I am allowed that.

MAny thanks for your contributions, even though my problems aren't solved, you must be sure I really do appreciate them.

Thanks
