Default [Fixed] ?Troj/Spywad-I?

Well what is left of it is my desktop going from white when the cursor is not on it, to the windows blue when the cursor is on it. My desktop is set to black>WAS!

I have run so many scans with Ad-Aware SE Personal, CCleaner, ewido anit-malware, Registry Frist Aid, NoAdware and Xoftspy. Found so much and removed all but this last piece. Help I am attaching the Hijackthis log. Thanks for any help you can give me.

I just started my pc in safemode to see if the processes would be different and while in the safemode, my background was black as I have always had it so I did the HJT and will attach so anyone can compare and hopefully let me know what I can do to repair this problem?

Hya Satinbows , welcome to PCHF.

Doesn't look like there is much (left) on there , but these can be fixed with hjt:

R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Local Page = \blank.htm
R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Local Page =
R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Toolbar,LinksFolderName =
R3 - Default URLSearchHook is missing

And give this reg fix a try:

Download this reg fix , unzip it and dubbel click on it to enter it to the registry.

I tried the registry fix. Zilch. I still have a white/blue flashing background. I can't even tile or wallpaper. I am just lost, but did do the HJT repairs. Thanks Joe. I sure hope it doesn't come to this> :computer_

Give this a try:

go to control panel/Appearance and Themes/change the desktop background/Customize desktop/web tab and see if anything is loaded there.

If there is , then remove it.

No sir, I sure don't have appearance/themes in the Control Panel. I wish I did!! I can pull up display and it shows my themes they way I have always had them, but they will not display. I am missing something or took something out that I shouldn't have?:computer_

In youre display properties , did you also look on the "desktop" tab , select "custimize desktop" , and then on the "web" tab check if there is something loaded there?
