Question [Fixed] Persistent virus

First I'd like to say that I'm new to these forums. I've decided to join up because the advice I've found here has helped me in the past, and the solution I found for my current problem did not help. I will be familiarizing myself with Hijack This while I await a response.

I'm using Avast Antivirus, and have been very satisfied with it, thusfar. It's prevented many problems, and alerted me to problems that even it cannot handle. These alerts have prompted my writing.

I seem to be infected with a Trojan and some Adware. The filenames that keep popping up in my alerts are:

idemlog.exe
ppppcgm.jpg
sphlp32.jp
dgprpsetup.exe

The last of these is more recent, and I suspect may be unrelated. If someone could help me get started on purging this problem, that would be great.

Hello Oni-Neko And Welcome to PCHF,
Well it seems you are infected with some dialers and trojans there. Would you mind click on the link "prework" in my signature and start on that. Maybe we can get rid of some of these things before the hijackthis log

Angry Well...

I've followed instructions for help with the first 3 files in that list to no effect, but the last one doesn't turn up anything when I google it. I've tried Ewido, but that didn't do anything for me... same files kept popping up.

I've had quite a few problems with Spybot and Adaware in the past, and don't currently use them. They always caused the computer to hang, and caused more problems than they ever fixed for me, ironically.

The problems are getting worse. I've just been alerted of a new one, gdnus277.exe\[Yoda].

I'm just afraid that these are all seperate viruses. Where can i get Hijack This scanner so I can make a log for someone to look at? Every time I try a link on the main page, it turns up some other software, and would rather not have my computer bogged down with several -more- worthless antiviruses.

Default Omg!

:computer_

Go figure. After running Ewido, rebooting, running sybot, rebooting and running Adaware se.... it's gotten worse. Now I have several new files being flagged by Avast including things like 1001.dat. It looks like an old problem I had before.

Well, here's the scan report... I hope you guys can help with this.

Oh, and I forgot to add... every time I open up Internet Explorer, it defaults to the blank page as opposed to taking me to Google. Also, a dialog box keeps popping up saying "click ok for your full control". I just "X" out of this every time it pops up.
