Thanks for all your help! Now that Housecall is working, I'll run a scan of that as well to make sure nothing was missed. I'll also follow up with the final cleanup work just to be safe.

This looks like a winfixer variant to me , and the executeble has no hits at all on google..

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [WinAntiSpyware 2006] "c:\program files\winantispyware 2006 scanner\was6.exe" /min

I would uninstall it..


EDIT: yup , im correct:

Definatly uninstall it.


And also manually delete these files flagged by the Fixwareout:

C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\CSQZX.EXE
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\DMLBK.EXE
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\DMSVP.EXE

And i see you have no firewall , you could have a look in our download section for some free versions.

I had a fix I had found for that the first time around noted in my copy of the log, I have no idea how I missed fixing it.

I don't know if you, GW and Joe, will see this thread again... I just saw it myself.

I had already uninstalled that program, and those files were nowhere to be found. Thank you for all your help, though. I can't believe you guys are -this- good!
