Smile Thankyou

First up Joe thank you very much for helping me out with that adware stuff and everything else u have done.
Can I delete any folders and registrys we have merged,I have kept most of the reports etc and most stuff attaining to what we did?
Also is there any harm in running the ewido now and then?
The only other prob I have is when I am sent an email and it has a link with it when I click on it,it will not take me anywhere(nothing happens) not that it overly worried me.
The other is I play Pool in a site called pogo, when I am at a table playing pool and I go back to the lobby to see the chat, then maximise my table the game freezes, this also happens occasionally when I browse the net whilst playing when I minimize the pages the game freezes.
I have over come it by not going to the lobby untill the game is over,so it does not worry me too much,I know the game is very Java based I have done updates etc.
Someone did mention that using Virtual Machine which is Java as well ( I think) could solve the prob,I have not tried VM as I had conflicts on a previous comp with VM and Java.
Ok Joe, thank you once again for your help,I do not intend leaving this site, hopefully i can learn things and become an active member at some time.
Merry Christmas to u Joe.

You can delete all the fix tools and logs , they are not needed anymore. Except Ewido and Ccleaner , Ewido is a very good anti spyware app and is always good to run now and then. And Ccleaner cleans up.. whats more to say. lol.

Maybe this applyes to you?

After uninstalling another web browser such as Netscape, you may find that clicking a link in Outlook Express may not work if the removed program is still considered to be your default browser. Start Internet Explorer, goto View, Internet Options and select the Programs tab. Make sure the message "Internet Explorer should check to see whether it is the default browser" is checked. If not, then check it! Press Okay and close Internet Explorer.

If this doesn't apply to you, try following the steps at Microsoft Knowledge Base Article Q177045 (Internet Shortcuts in Outlook Express Don't Start Browser).
