Okay I've run Counter Spy and will upload that log in a minute, but when I went I checked the suggested files and started the fix in Hijackthis, I received an error msg:

Error#52 (Bad file name or number_ in Sub GetLongPath(?.exe)

I will continue with the fix, but if you have any idea what that means please let me know.

Update: all of the items were fixed, despite that error msg. I'm now going to run CCleaner and then Hijackthis again and then post the logs.

Oops - looks like I forgot to run ewido in between CounterSpy and CCleaner. Argh. I'll run it now and post the log. Hope it works...

Please download FixWareout from one of these sites:

http://downloads.subratam.org/Fixwareout.exe
http://swandog46.geekstogo.com/Fixwareout.exe

Save it to your desktop and run it. Click Next, then Install, then make sure "Run fixit" is checked and click Finish. The fix will begin; follow the prompts. You will be asked to reboot your computer; please do so. Your system may take longer than usual to load; this is normal.

When your system reboots, follow the prompts. Afterwards, Hijack This will launch. Close Hijack This, and click OK to proceed.

At the end of the fix, you may need to restart your computer again.

Now run an other Ewido scan.

Finally, please post the contents of the logfile C:\fixwareout\report.txt , plus the Ewido log.

I would also recommend to update windows.
