"empty youre "C:\WINDOWS\PREFETCH folder" you mean that I have to delete all the files inside it. (You may find this question stupid, but just want to double check:grin

Is it a good idea to uninstall ewido security suit?

Keeping Windows anti spyware Beta, Norton, Ad-adware, C cleaner, and Unhackme ( do you think these programs conflict each other?)
Any recommendations would be very appreciated!!

Yup , empty all the files in youre prefetch folder.

And if you only use one of those anti spyware app "real time" then you can keep them all. They will only confict if i.e. you have MS beta and Adaware's realtime protection running.

If you followed the "Prework" instructions when installing Ewido , then the "real time" protection from Ewido is already disabled.


And i haven't got a clue as to why those files are nowhere to be found.. But they are disabled , the virus isn't running/doing anything anymore.
