Isn't kernel32.dll a good file? I thought kernel32.exe is the trojan?

I ran Ad-aware, A-squared, Spybot, and have Spyblaster. The only thing any of these came up with were things like tracking cookies, etc. I'm stumped.

Hya Myemerald , welcome to PCHF.

Could you run hjt again and check if the full log got copied?

If the last 4 entry's indeed look like this then you can fix them with hjt.

Other then that , i see no problems there.

PS , you are correct about the kernel32.dll.

Default New HJT log

Hi Joe,

Here is a new HJT log, thank you!!

I also un-checked a few things in msconfig startup to see if that helps.

Nothing wrong really but these can be fixed:

O2 - BHO: Ipswitch.WsftpBrowserHelper - {601ED020-FB6C-11D3-87D8-0050DA59922B} - (no file)
O16 - DPF: {3E68E405-C6DE-49FF-83AE-41EE9F4C36CE} -
O16 - DPF: {1239CC52-59EF-4DFA-8C61-90FFA846DF7E} -
O16 - DPF: {74D05D43-3236-11D4-BDCD-00C04F9A3B61} -
O16 - DPF: {F00F4763-7355-4725-82F7-0DA94A256D46} (IncrediMail) -

Also i see you have "Children's Educational Network\Noahs Net\ProcessMonitor.exe" and Spybot's "Teatimer" running.
Did you always have these 2 running together? If not , try to disable one of them to see if the problem persists. They might be "in conflict" with each other.

What are those files that can be fixed? Do I just check them in HJT to fix them? Yes, I have been running both programs together, didn't even think of possible conflict. Thank you!
