my norton subscription ran out and i got a new scanning device
it didnt find what norton said was a threat and now my computer is slow as balls.........can i get some help
i have ccelaner and ewido and pctools

OK WhitePony,

There is really nothing in your HJT log. What I do see tho, is that you are running both Norton AV and PC Tools AV at the same time. That can cause all kinds of problems and conflicts. I would completely uninstall Norton if you are not going to renew your subscription.

Why don't you run an ewido scan and a Spy Sweeper scan let the PC fix anything that it finds. Post the ewido log back here, then we can try some other trouble shooting tips.

You can fix this with HJT also.

Default i cant uninstall

i cant find an uninstall fro my norton and i dotn know how to get rid of that one thing you said to
i wil run a system check on with ewido and the other and repost

Hi WhitePony,

Have you checked in Add/Remove programs in your Control Panel? Otherwise, follow these instructions to remove Nortons Removal Instructions

To remove the item I listed, run HijackThis again, put a check next to the item, then click on Fix.

well i let my ewido scan forever and it would not let me save a report

If you can't manage to uninstall Norton trough add and remove programs , or with the instructions in the link that LGW posted , then please post the exact version and year of Norton that you have installed.

There is probebly a removal tool to uninstall it but they are version specific.
