It always seems to be that most people like to destroy things ratter then build things im afraid... and in some cases there is also money involved with malware , like Ad's and stealing credit card info ect.


I assume you have decided to go for the reformat ?

already done!!! lol . I am having trouble locating a dell driver thought. I am missing the USB controller for a dell 2400 demension. I dont know what there calling it on the drivers section of the dell downloads. Any idea?

It's the chipset driver - that will contain the USB drivers.

Well i installed the chipset patch and it still didnt take care of the device manager ! thingmabob. The usb inputs are working, I have my mouse and a printer attached and they both work.

Have you already updated windows? That might fix the usb prob.
