From Gray
I would like to thank you for helping me so far, but...

Before I begin all of this work, I can't seem to run SpySweeper.

It says that the free trial has been expired, so should I continue with the steps or just wait until there's a way around this?
Gray, it sounds like you had already used the trial version of Spy Sweeper, you have two choices in that case, you can purchase Spy Sweeper (that's what I did because I loved the product), or you can try Counter Spy, another trial of a really terrific product. The part you want, seems to stay operational as far as I can tell.

Look forward to your reply,

TTFN

So instead of running Spy Sweeper, I would run Counter Spy instead?

Yes, they are very similar, what we are looking for is traces of viruses etc. that sometimes get left behind during fixes. I have found that Spy Sweeper is the best at that particular task, but I am very impressed with the newer Counter Spy. I currently use them both, with the Sheilds from Spy Sweeper running, and scanns from both programs daily. (a little overkill maybe, but I've been burned before. LOL )

When this does get fixed, I'll have to look into overkill as well. Better overkill than doing this:

:computer_

LOL

I'll have the results of the scans posted up soon.

After reading the article, and learning a few things, I have the logs requested.

 OK Gray, so far so good, your logs look clean. Have you noticed any further problems?
