From Gray Gray, it sounds like you had already used the trial version of Spy Sweeper, you have two choices in that case, you can purchase Spy Sweeper (that's what I did because I loved the product), or you can try Counter Spy, another trial of a really terrific product. The part you want, seems to stay operational as far as I can tell.

So instead of running Spy Sweeper, I would run Counter Spy instead?

Yes, they are very similar, what we are looking for is traces of viruses etc. that sometimes get left behind during fixes. I have found that Spy Sweeper is the best at that particular task, but I am very impressed with the newer Counter Spy. I currently use them both, with the Sheilds from Spy Sweeper running, and scanns from both programs daily. (a little overkill maybe, but I've been burned before. LOL )
