ok, i ran the smit file in safe mode, it started scanning the files, then when it asked me to run the main check, where it could take up to 3 hours to run, i clicked ok. It started but then the box just closed iteself, and a message box came up asking me if i wanted to run the computer in safe mode or use system restore, as it always does when i run safe mode, but it already asked me that. so i clicked safe mode, when back to the smit file, ran the runthis.bat it went through some prelim checks, then again asked me if i wanted to run the main scan, i clicked ok, then it again closed itself and windows asked again if i wanted to run in safe mode or use system restore. i clicked safe mode and repeated the same process 3 more times..nothing different happend...so i just ran in it normal mode, and it worked. Im running the ewido scan right now, but here is the hjt log and smit log...any idea why the browser is acting up and why there are so many pop ups as i talked about in my other post? thanks for all the help and one more thing, my computer isnt recognizing some of my programs like my webcam, even though it works if i use windows movie maker...and mycomputer recognizes my ipod, but itunes doesn't and i cant update it

Please download AproposFix.exe - but do NOT run it yet.

Then boot in Safe Mode, double-click aproposfix.exe and unzip it to the desktop.
Open the aproposfix folder on your desktop and run RunThis.bat. Follow the prompts.
When the tool is finished, please reboot back into normal mode.

Then please post the entire contents of the log.txt file in the aproposfix folder , by attaching it to a post.
