About those programs...CounterSpy wouldn't run and SpySweeper locks up my computer. I tried it about three times with no success.

Anyway, earlier, when my computer froze, this file name appeared on a blue screen:

IPVNMon.sys

Anyone have any clue on what that is? I think it may be the cause of freezing, but it's too soon to tell.

Hmmm... Try installing this first:

http://updates.visualnetworks.com./ipvnminstaller.exe

And if that doesn't work then remove the IP InSight Agent by uninstalling it in Add/Remove Programs.

The installation went well and the computer seems to be freezing less often...only time will tell if the freezing has stopped completely.

Then it looks like we are on the right track , you could uninstall it completly to see if that fixes the prob.

Freezing has apparently stopped , marked as fixed.
