Thanks for telling me, Hengis.

I installed the program successfully (at long last) and it's a bit hard to understand. What temperatures should I tell the program to put up?

I would like to thank you all for having so much patience with my computer problem.

Default Belarc Advisor Info

Hi Gray ,

Hengis is offline at the moment, I hope that you won't mind me chiming in.

When you install Belarc Advisor, there shouldn't be any point where it asks you for any input, certainly not about temperatures, it should just come up with a web page giving you specific details about your computer.

Check to make sure that you installed Belarc Advisor, there should be a Yellow Pentagram with a Green B inside it as an icon on your desktop.
If you cannot find that, perhaps you inadverntently installed a different program. Try reinstalling Belarc from my signature. It is a pretty terrific program for determining aspects of your PC.

Look forward to your reply,

TTFN

Sorry about the confusion, tj. Earlier in the post, M_M suggested that I install Motherboard Monitor to see if my computer freezing was due to temperature.

The motherboard and the processor temperture are the ones to look for.

Okay, but how do I find those exactly? There seems to be a lot of options on this program and navigating them is confusing.
