@Joe, I believe that the whole deal with NSS is that it is supposed to do everything for you. My understanding was that you could disable parts that you didn't want to use, but everything that I have read said this didn't work out very well.
@Rob, You're choice as to which program to choose. My comment is based on both my husband's experience and the things I have read, as well as my previous experience with Symantec full service products.
They are system hogs
They are incredibly invasive
They are very iffy about interacting with other programs.
If you wanted my personal opinion, I would scrap everything except Norton Anti-Virus, use the sheilds from Spy Sweeper, install Spyware Blaster, and a free firewall, this will give you some info,
PCHF Firewall Article. I think you will find that you have less slowdown, and less conflicts.
