As you can see there are many console.exe's here but what do i do about them? any thoughts please

I have recently started to experience a slow and sluggish HDD, i have done the usual scans for spyware and virii, even the good ol defrag but it's still lagging,

I have posted a HJT log here thinking that something there might be a problem but if it isn't then i'm at a complete loss,

and b4 anyone asks,
yes i have run a virus scan in safe mode. and still there seems to be something wrong with it all, any thoughts please

I don't think you need these console.exe entries but lets keep them for now and delete the ones below:

Would you also be able to download and run LSPFIX.exe from this site:
http://www.cexx.org/lspfix.htm

new.net has been removed, i found it in add/remove so all those entries are gone now, just about to download the lspfix, what does that do anyway?

I recommend running LSP-FIX anyway, we want to make sure this beast is gone forever.

Here is more info on removing new.net, you have already done some of this but no harm in checking again:

Please download LSP-Fix from the following link and save it to a location you can find later if necessary.

To remove New.net please follow these steps:
[*]Click on start, then settings and then control panel.[*]Double-click on the Add/Remove Programs icon.[*]Look through the installed programs for a program called New.Net or NewDotNet.

If there is no uninstall program listed then do the following:[*]Go to www.newdotnet.com/removal.html [*]Scroll down to Procedure 4 and follow the removal instructions.[*]Once the computer has rebooted, start HijackThis and fix any of the corresponding entries for that program that are found.

Then reboot and delete the C:\Program Files\NewDotNet\ directory.

At this point you should be clean.

well thats new.net removed from my system, when i load up LSP-fix the only options that are in the keep box are:

mswsock.dll
winrnr.dll
rsvpsp.dll,

now i'm assuming that those are all supposed to be there?

any thoughts on those console.exe's also

I seriously don't think you require them, do you have any MSN toolbars loaded or do you use any MSN software besides messenger?

If you only use messenger then delete those console entries... if it affects your msn messenger then you can simply reinstall it.
