I dunno if this is worth your time, but I still am getting pop-ups: ususally advertisements, sometimes for games. They usually have something to do with whatever I type into google.
I am so frustrated with this that I am this close to disabling internet explorer. I use Mozilla Firefox and all the ads/popups are have the internet explorer logo on the window. Is there anything I can do to stop this? Any good programs out there to beat these annoying things into the dirt?

By the way... Spybot, Ad-Aware, and No-Adware found nothing on the PC.

You'll have a hard time disabling IE, and it isn't recommended because Windows Updates, WMP, MSNM, OE all require it whether you actively use any of them or not.

It is also required for the Kaspersky scan, which is one of the best scans around (if only it cleans)

Sorry to interject here but is the "Messenger" service set to "dis-abled" in your Services?

right click on My Computer > manage > services (on the left) > messenger service - disable

This is used as a transport for many popups and if you are not on a business network you do not require this service to run.
