Hi Joe5,

I came back after to do all you said.

So, my first step was to open My Pc=>Properties, and it worked.
The second step was to open "Sytem Restore", it opens, then I click on "create", I wrote the point name, "create" again and...nothing happens. Finally, a lot of time later, the program says, "no respond". Now if I try again to open the "Properties" of My Pc, the rundlll32.exe appers on the processes open but nothing happens after a lot of time again but the tab "System Restore" is not. Just in case, I run in CMD a Net Start ant the System Restore service is working.

I am absolutely lost with this situation.

Please, help me. I do not know what to do.

Just to put in my two cents, I'm with Joe your English is terrific.

I am only seeing one issue in your HJT log. It is a program called lclock. It should be a system file, so it is probably malware.

I was also curious as to whether ewido found and cleaned anything in your computer, it appears that if it did, it reinfected itself, so it would be very useful to know.

Let's start by having you make sure that your System Restore is disabled. Then download RegSupremePro, and install it, don't run it yet.

Now please boot into Safe Mode, run CCleaner, make sure that ALL of the options are selected, including Advanced, let it delete all that it finds. Run ewido, again, letting it fix all that it finds.

Next Run HijackThis, and fix the following items, then delete the item in bold if it is still in your computer.

I am a little concerned about the multiple 08 Adobe entries, but we can ask Joe about those, I don't think they are related to your problems.

Ok, now run CCleaner again, letting it clean everything it finds. Now run RegSupremePro, you will want to select the Registry Cleaner tab. It will ask to make a back up, answer yes and let it work, this may take some time. Now when it asks select Aggresive as the search option and let it run. Once it has finished click on Select and choose All. Then click on Fix.

Reboot your computer and post a new HJT log here, hopefully we will have gotten them all.

Thanks for your extra help together Joe5.

I have done step by step what you suggested. Finally, I reboot the system, opened My Pc => Properties and, ok, it was opened. I opened the "Systemn Restore" tab to able again the restore, click on "Apply" and...unfortunately it did not work. After 10 minutes thinking a message showed up: "System Restore has found a problem and it can not properly work, please reboot...bla, bla, bla".

So, Here I am, desesperated because I do not know the reason for this behaviour (correct word?). Something strange is that every time this happens there is a process envolved: rundll32.exe. Could this be that it is not launching the programs?

Please, do not forget me. I would like to solve this bad dream.

To troubleshoot System Restore issues, try one or more of the following steps:

- If you receive an error message that is related to System Restore, always make sure that you first record the error message
and follow the instructions that the error message contains to try to resolve the issue. Most System Restore issues generate
an error message that contains a description of the issue and suggestions for how to resolve the issue.
- Make sure that you have enough disk space on all of the drives on which System Restore is enabled.
- Make sure that the System Restore service is running by using one of the following methods:

- Check in Control Panel:

1. Click Start, click Control Panel, and then click "Performance and Maintenance".
2. Click Administrative Tools, click Computer Management, and then click Services and Applications.
3. Click Services, and then click System Restore Services.

- Open a command prompt window:

1. Click Start, click Run, and then type "CMD" (without the quotation marks).
2. Press the ENTER key, and then type "Net Start" (without the quotation marks) at the command prompt to make sure that
the System Restore service is up and running.

- Make sure that System Restore is enabled on the drives that you want System Restore enabled on.

An alternative to the usual method of enabling and disabling Windows XP's System Restore feature is to use the registry. To use this alternative, perform the following steps: Start the registry editor (regedit.exe).

Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\SystemRestore.
If a "DisableSR" value doesn't exist, go to the Edit menu, select New, DWORD value, and create the value.
Set the value to 1 to disable System Restore or 0 to enable System Restore. (you would want "0" here)

Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Servic es\sr to prevent the System Restore service from starting.

Double-click Start, and set the value to 4 to stop the service from starting or to 0 for normal startup. (you would want "0" here)

Close the registry editor.

Hi again Joe5,

So, I proceeded to test if System Restore was working and did a "Net Start". The result was that it is working.

After this, I have been checking the registry values and both of them are 0, so, ok.

Then, I have tried to open "System Restore" and nothing happens. I have opened the process manager and I can see the process rstrui.exe working.

Sorry foll all the disturbs I am causing with this issue.

Hmm.. just a quick check , first you mentioned "rundlll32.exe" was starting and then "rundll32.exe". (one "l" less) Wich one was the typo?

PS, im not nitpicking here but one is ok and the other is a virus :wink:
