This is gona be a little tricky , that file keep changing its name. Thats why you coudn't find it and the nail infection is back again.

Make sure you still have the naifix , ewido and ccleaner.

Then boot in safemode again and fix these with HJT. BUT it might have changed name again!! So if you cant find the 04 wipour.exe r entry then you will have to find the changed file youre self.

Dont worry , it cant go wrong , It will be the ONLY 04 entry with an extra "r" at the end. so it will look like this: ( apart from the question markes)

Well, I did it all again per your request. I *think* the nail.exe is gone for the moment, but something tells me that when I go online to post this it will be back. Here's why.

The file that changes its name each time won't go away. Everytime I check the box next to it in hjt and click "fix", it changes its name. Ths is how I know. When I went into the System32 folder to try and delete it manually, it wouldn't let me, even though I was in Safe Mode. I left explorer open and when through the usual hjt fixing process. When I looked at the file in the system32 folder, its name had changed, and I still couldn't delete it.

So! How screwed *am* I, exactly?

Either the Nail infection has changed/adapted itself and the old fixes don't work anymore , or the order in running apps should be different. Try it one more time like this:

Boot in Safe Mode, and run the Nailfix by dubbleclicking on nailfix.cmd

Then please run Ewido, and run a full scan. Save the logfile from the scan.

Next please run HijackThis, click Scan, and check: (or the "changed" file)

Close all open windows except for HijackThis and click Fix Checked. And then delete the files in bold.(or the "changed" file)

Restart your computer in normal mode and please post a new HijackThis log, as well as the log from the Ewido scan
