hey, i'm new here. Anyway, to business:

For some reasons, every PC game of mine is being interrupted about every few minutes. It minimizes, and i can see my desktop. Nothing opens. When i press CTRL, ALT, Delete, the Task manager briefly flashes open, for about half a second, and closes. I get extremely frustrated because of this. Also, whenever i connect to the internet, these two internet explorer windows pop open from www.knu-konceptz.com, and it says "instaling microsoft updates". Once out of curiosity, i let the updates install, and they were some wierd spyware game link things. WHenever i delete all my spyware (i do a double scan with microsoft antispyware and ad-aware SE personal) it still happens. Also, probably related, allways when i am typing a sound (poom) happens, and the typing bar thing is gone, and cant type. does anyone know whats going on??

ok, i extracted it, click on the icon, but the grey window thing just flashes and is gone.

Ouch! never install anything that just pops in youre face and specially not MS updates from a clearly non MS site.





Here are a couple of steps to try and run HijackThis. Follow them in order. If one step doesn't work, continue to the next step:

Step # 1

Rename HijackThis.exe to H.exe. Try a scan. If it works, post the log back here. If not, proceed to the next step.

Step # 2

Go to this link and download the 1.98.2 version of HijackThis.exe:

hijackthis1.98.2

Try a scan. If it works, post the log back here. If not, proceed to the next step.

Step # 3

Click here and download Itty Bitty Process Manager (IBProcMan.zip): ibprocman.

Unzip it to it's own directory and try running it - it will provide a 'taskmanager' like process viewer in which you can stop running processes.
Don't stop any yet, just list all that it has so whe can check them and give advice. Post the list back here.

Joe, I was wondering if sarusgod would get a better result from HJT running in Safe Mode, or using ewido for this one.

sarusgod, I cannot back up Joe strongly enough on this one, if you didn't ask for it, and you don't know what it is, DON'T DOWNLOAD IT!!

I am sure we can help you on this, Joe and Merlin are brilliant, and I well, I'm pretty good :wink:
