Hey Guys,

Always a good idea to retry the scans in Safe Mode, after eliminating the temp files etc. But I want to check with Merlin on this, because it has been a while since I worked in 98. Isn't the Kernel32 file supposed to be in the System32 folder? That seemed suspicious to me. What do you say, Oh Great and Powerful Wizard?
(don't worry Osiris, long standing joke :lol

But I am curious about that one.

Let us know how the scans turn out.

I am guessing your IE got corrupted or hijackthis fixed somthing it was not supposed to. I am pretty sure you'll be fine.. But post another just for poop's and worms

@tj...No it wont always show up in system32. Not in 98 only though, I think In ME it does but not in 98..

Ad-aware came up cleans, SD deleted like 2 things, Hitbox and DSOexploits. Here is the new HJT scan
