before I attempt the scan, is there any active x settings i need to change or anything, because I think last time I tried trendmicro it kept giving me errors and not working or something, I just want to make sure this goes smoothly, ive had to change so many settings and stuff lately I wouldnt be surprised if I hit "Enter" and my toilet flushed.

:-D That was absolutely Hysterical.

Found this on the Trend Micro site, if you want you can follow these instructions and reinstall a fresh HouseCall. That way you don't have to worry about any potential problems from all of the changes etc.

you have to remove "zlib.dll" and "vsapi32.dll" on the \Windows\System directory for WIN95/WIN98.

After removing the two files, please do the procedure below:
Procedures:

1. On your browser, clean History and Temporary Internet Files or *Cache, then close ALL your Internet browsers.
2. In "[drive]:\Windows\Downloaded fp Files" , right click on "Housecall Control" then click remove.
3. In "[drive]:\Windows, verify if the following files and folders are already deleted, if not please delete:
a. loadhttp.dll
b. patch.exe
c. patchw32.dll
d. tmupdate.dll
e. tmupdate.ini
f. unzip.dll
g. Vptnfile.xxx
h. Vsapi32.dll
i. Zlib.dll
j. AUBackup folder
k. AUBin folder
l. Ausrc.tmp folder

4. Visit the HouseCall site again, http://housecall.antivirus.com

Ok so I am an idiot and accidently missed where to save the log from the scan, but it deleted 2 viruses and 27 spyware...the thing is...I guess friday when I was doing what the hijack this site told me to do and got this killbox program and went through each thing on the activescan log and deleted it or whatever, that it fixed something because the computer has been running over an hour now and there are no iexplorers running so far, so now I guess we just have to clean up and get the computer running good! know any ways or programs to clean up your computer and speed it up and all that jazz?
