Default [Answered] Yahoo has been replaced

Hi, first time here. I don't know what to do since I'm not to savy with this sort of thing. When I try to access yahoo.com, a different page will come up but the address bar will still read yahoo.com. I've run ad-aware and spybot but these don't seem to help. What do I do now? Any help would be great!

... Welcome to PCHF!

Before using Hijack This Can you please do this for me:

Show hidden files and folders:

For XP:

1.On the Tools menu in Windows Explorer, click Folder Options.
2.Click the View tab.
3.Under Hidden files and folders, click Show hidden files and folders.
4.If you see a warning message, click Yes.
5.Click Apply.
6.Click OK.

For 98/2000/ME:

1.double-click the My Computer icon
2.Click on the View menu, click Folder Options
3.Advanced Settings box, under the "Hidden files" folder, click Show all files.
4.If you see a warning message, click Yes.
5.Click Apply.
6.Click OK.

Then disable system restore to prevent re-infection.
(if you have/use it.)
(you can turn it back on when youre pc is clean).

How to disable system restore:

WinXP.

Click the Start button.
Right-click My Computer, and then click Properties.
On the System Restore tab, check Turn off System Restore or Turn off System Restore on all drives.

WinME.

Click Start > Settings > Control Panel.
Double-click the System icon.
If the System icon is not visible, click View all Control Panel options to display it.
On the Performance tab, click File System.
On the Troubleshooting tab check Disable System Restore.
Click OK. Click Yes, when you are prompted to restart Windows.

And then do some pre-work clean up

Download Cleanup in my signature below and let it run!

Now Download Hijack this which also can be download below and let it do a scan and save log... A log will pop up all you need to do is copy and paste the whole log back here and we willl have ya up and runnin as soon as we can
