Ok this is odd. The file
O23 - Service: PostgreSQL Database Server (PostgreSQL) - Unknown owner - C:\Program Files\PostgreSQL\8.0\bin\pg_ctl.exe" runservice -N "PostgreSQL" -D "C:\Program Files\PostgreSQL\8.0\data\ (file missing) keeps coming back each time after i delete it. :

I wouldn't worry about that one to much , its just a "file Missing" entry from a legit program.

Do you still use PostgreSQL relational database management system?

No Joe,
I do not use that anymore. It wouldnt work when i DL'ed it so I ended up using Firebird instead. THe file 04-HKLM Winsync is snother one that will not stay deleted and my IE stil will not open :cry: Did i do something wrong?

If the "rqjajp.exe" stayed gone from youre system32 folder then that is harmless to i think.

I think youre I.E probs aren't caused by mal-ware , you can try this to see if it helps:


go to start / run and in the run window type in:
sfc /scannow >enter
Have you XP CD in youre drive, and it'll run itself, replacing any missign or damaged protected XP files.

Ok the disc finshed running. Now what? and if this works, who do i send my donations to?

Ok,
Good news is all of my IE icons are working at thsi moment. I still notice a TAD bit of lag when i open pics with Windows Picture and Fax Viewer but all the other lag i had seems to be gone for now. Not sure if I still need to replace my mainboard or upgrade my processor but everything seems to be a lot smoother for now. Thanks for your time and knowledge. You were a great help
