Default [Fixed] Claria/Gain and unknown files

I can't seem to permantely remove Claria/Gain, despite using up-to-date versions of AVG, Ad-AwareSE, EZ-Armor Antivirus-Pest Patrol-Anti-spam, CWShredder, Vcleaner, Microsoft Antispyware Beta, and trendmicro Housecall. I have disabled an item in my startup group that reads as follows: "startup name tthrbqln Command C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\ttfezrzk.exe". I have no idea what this is. Below is my current HT log. I also have Belarc Advisor current profile available if necessary.

Thanks, for your help.

Hi MrTesty,

I know what a pain it is trying to get rid of this stuff. If you would like a place to start with your HJT log, run the scan at; HijackThis Logfileauswertung. The scan is very detailed and will make you feel like you can at least understand your HJT log. Also, the program Spy Sweeper, may be the most comprehensive cleaner I have tried. It even found traces of malware/spyware/hijackers that I had manually deleted. You can run the trial download from; Webroot Software | Spy Sweeper has powerful anti-spyware technology
I am sure the other guys will have even more info for you. I see a number of suspicious entries in your HJT log.

This site is great, I am sure you will have your problem fixed in no time.

Take care.

Teresa

Hi there mr Testy , welcome to PCHF.

Can you first follow the removel instructions for Claria/Gain/Gator/Dashbar here. And then can you remove Logitech\Desktop Messenger and fix all the 018 entry's with hijackthis?

After that can you post a new log?
