i had this malware and used a popular tool to remove it.? i don't receive the popups any longer and thought it was licked.?
i just happened to do the online scan by Panda and they found it.
so i did a hijackthis and did the online analysis and nothing was found.
is this a scam by Panda.? i really thought they were a reputable online scanner.
any searches and even my own adaware, spybot, and microsoft's don't find anything related to elitebar.
i still? have my log if needed.

Yes would like to see your log. Panda is a pretty good online scan. Panda might have gotten rid of it for you that's why the HJ does not show anythng.

actually, Panda stated it could not remove.? i assumed this was because it only scans and removes viruses.? i thought maybe that or it was just too hard.

Youre log looks perfectly clean , maybe panda found an old "dead" left over , now harmless , file from the infection. Panda isn't know for false positives.
