First of all let me say hello, and thank you guys for letting join these forums.

Ill start by posting my hijack this log and belarc stats.

Anyways, I have my hdd on primary master and my cd rom drive on secondary slave.? I used to have virtual cd rom drives on my comp, i tried to take them all off. They are all gone.? But now when i try to insert my new cd/dvd rewrite drive, my comp will recongnize it then crash/restart instantly.? When i try to uninstall my cd rom's drivers, or just uninstall it, it will restart automaticlly.? I tried changing the jumpers around, making me cd rom drive a master and my new drive a slave.? But what happens is that my comp wont recgonize my dvd rom drive, and when i put a cd in my regular cd rom drive my comp will freeze until i eject the cd and it will disconnect me from the internet.

Anyways i dont know what to do, can anyone please help me.

Here we go:

First look for an entry from "Media Pass / Media Access" is in "ad and remove programs" , if it is then uninstall it first.

Then you can fix these with hijackthis:

These have to be removed manually from youre "trusted sites"

And you don't use AOL/AIM do you? If you don't then fix these to:

when i try to take those sites out of trusted they come back automatically.

Try this , boot in safe mode (hit f8 when booting up), run hijackthis again and remove any remaining entry's that i listed. Then still in safe mode empty youre C:\windows\prefetch folder and youre temp files and then try to remove those trusted sites again.

When i tried to go into safe mode with my old cd rom attacked, not the writer, my comp crashed and restarted. But when i unplugged it i went into safe mode ok. Theirs gotta be something wrong with my drivers, just like if i go into safe mode with just my cd writer drive connected my comp restarts/crashes.

But if i try to unistall my cd rom drivers my comp restarts, maybe i should just reformat.
