[Fixed] Hijackthis! Logs - [FIXED] bad spyware posted in the Security & Safety forums; Ok the spyware seems to be gone but the trojan still pops up and gets neutralized every six hours or so...seems to be no rime or reason. I guess this ...

Ok the spyware seems to be gone but the trojan still pops up and gets neutralized every six hours or so...seems to be no rime or reason. I guess this isn't the right forum for viruses so thanks for the help on the spyware :-)

Try and run this program to get rid of the "Trojan"

Trojan Remover 6.3.8

Also might be worth trying another anti-virus software e.g AVG

Have you installed Microsoft Antispyware yet, this program has realtime protection so should stop the trojan trying to get in. (it is spyware related)

Thank you very much for the link to trojan remover. Installed it, ran it and it found both the trojan and the spyware--seems the were connected somehow. Anyways got rid of both rebooted several times to make sure and it seems to have worked very well. Thanks again! :-D

whoops spoke to soon. The spyware seems to be called Aurora --buddy window from direct revenue. The trojan seems to be a program called nail.exe
