Default [Answered] Haunted System

My system appears to have gained a life of its own. Every time I use IE now I get numerous pop windows when moving from page to page. I used a popup blocker but this is helping little. I know its a new problem becuase the sites i visit to not employ popups. Below is a log from HijackThis.

Logfile of HijackThis v1.98.0

Hey Si

...nothing obvious (unless it's too early in the morning for me) in your HiJack This! report.

Next thing to do is run the CWShredder - v v good little program...link in the sticky at the top of this Forum.

EDIT - Hold the phone, I did just notice your little "friend". It's here:
O2 - BHO: MxTargetObj Class - {0000607D-D204-42C7-8E46-216055BF9918} - C:\WINDOWS\mxTarget.dll

If you tick this and "FIX" it then I am confident that your problem will go.....

OH, dont forget to run AdAware and Spybot after re-boot

Huh?
Wether or not it worked but it did not. Half way through a system rebuild as we speak, ggggrrr.
